Our Veterinarians
| Dr. Miz
Dr. Andrew Miz was born and raised in Chicago, IL. He holds both a Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Sciences and Veterinary Medical Sciences. He attended the University of Illinois where he received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1992. He joined the Animal Medical Center team in February of 1995. Dr. Miz holds special interest in minimally invasive procedures including endoscopy and endosurgery, as well as management of orthopedic disease of companion animals. He is a member of the Chicago Veterinary Medical Association, serving as the continuing education committee co-chairperson. He is also a member of the Illinois Veterinary Medical Association and American Veterinary Medical Association. His family includes his wife, son, and Toy Poodle, Bella. In his spare time, Dr. Miz enjoys spending time with family, cooking, gardening, mountain biking, Blues music, and is a diehard lifelong Blackhawks fan. His future goals are to continuously improve professionally, personally, and spiritually, and lead the staff of AMC to provide the best veterinary care possible.

| Dr. Pavlovsky
Dr. Gene Pavlovsky was born and raised in Russia, and now resides in the Chicago area with his wife, son, and daughter. He attended Depaul University graduating with a Bachelor of Science, and went on to obtain is DVM in 2003 from Ontario Veterinary College, Ontario, Canada. Soon after graduation, he joined our clinic in May 2003. His special interests lie in pain management, anesthesia, and internal medicine. Dr. Pavlovsky is a member the Chicago Veterinary Medical Association, Illinois Veterinary Medical Association, American Veterinary Medical Association, American Academy of Pain Management, and International Academy of Pain Management. His pets include a Shih Tzu named Saki, Shepard mix named Klaus, 3 cats named Maybe, Cleo, and Oliver, and a Guinea Pig named Boris. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, home improvement, and running.

| Dr. Coleman
Dr. Adrienne Coleman was born and raised in Central Illinois, and now resides in the Chicago area with her husband, stepson, and daughter. She obtained both her bachelors degree and DVM from the University of Illinois, graduating in 2003. Soon after graduation, she joined our team in July of 2003. Dr. Coleman is a member the Chicago Veterinary Medical Association, Illinois Veterinary Medical Association, and American Veterinary Medical Association. Although most of her patients are canines and felines, she enjoys practicing exotic medicine with some of AMC's smaller patients and holds a special interest in internal medicine. Her pets include a Shih Tzu named Saki, Shepard mix named Klaus, 3 cats named Maybe, Cleo, and Oliver, and a Guinea Pig named Boris. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, scrapbooking, running, and geneology.

| Dr. Butenko
Dr. Danylo Butenko was born and raised in Syracuse, NY, and now resides in Chicago, IL, with his wife, daughter, and dog Meena. He is a graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and did his clinical training at the University of Illinois. He joined our team in March of 2006. Dr. Butenko's special interests include behavior, surgery, and physical rehabilitation. He is a member of the Chicago Veterinary Medical Association, Illinois Veterinary Medical Association, and American Veterinary Medical Association. In his spare time, he volunteers in several Ukrainian organizations and coaches boys' volleyball. His hobbies include fishing and sailing.
